With the final race of the season Grant Langston held a 6 point lead over closest rival, Michael Brown. A top 3 finish would have surely netted him his debut 125 MX title. It was not to be, as this was to be Kawasaki's day, Grants wheel disintegrates handing the title to Brown, who then allows Ricky Carmichel the win and the 125 record.

Steve Windham, without Carmichael in the mix takes the 250 event 1/1 and ends the season 8 points behind RC.

Head to head, Langston ends the season with 5 wins against Browns 3 (could have been 4), I guess Okie came within 6 points of eating his "World Championship" comments ..... yup, it ain't over til its over.

Congrats to Brown and Carmichael for a super season ........ it was all GREEN ;)

Bummer for Grant though, still congratulations to him on a fantastic debut season, lets hope next year is even better.

Langston, Brown and James Stewart in the 125's next year, is going to be quite a season.
