I'm currently racing Hare Scrambles on a YZ125, and am seriously considering switching to a YZ/WR 250F. I am leaning to the YZF because of weight. My big problem is maintanence on the bike. On a 2-stroke I can do the basics and a top end easily. I know nothing about 4-stroke motors, and neither does my dad. My question is, would the manual give me detailed enough info. on the maintanence?
Thanks for the help. :thumb:

The service manual that comes with the 250F is very detailed and will provide all the info you need to do maintenance on the bike.

Some parts of the engine like cylinder heads need special tools to service them, but all the tools are listed in the manual.
