I have my son's "01 CR125 torn down, the cylinder is ball honed and ready to go. I haven't purchased a piston yet and have heard conflicting suggestions. I have a B cylinder and it has a few miles on it. What is the way to go, factory B, Wiseco, Vertex, ProX? I'm thinking because of the wear going with a stock B since the aftermarkets only make 1 size fits all...this has to mean that it will fit an A cylinder also. This would have to translate to a small diameter and a loose fit. What do you think?

Just put a Vertex in my sons 125 cr,only run it on the stand so far,so I cant give you any riding impressions yet.The feel of the piston and cylinder in the hands during assembly is of a tighter fit.If I remember correct, you can see the sizes of Vertex pistons on Sudcos website. If my memory is playing tricks on me,do a search for cr 125 Vertex. Not only DRN people rely on other pistons than oem for these bikes. My local Honda dealer told me he uses Wiseco or Vertex instead of OEM!
