need beefier kickstarter arm for 01 KX100

Has anyone converted the kickstarter arm or whole assembly for a 01 KX100? The stock arm is weak. Lori's second replacement is now pointing more down than out, she can't get a grip on it now. I need to find a better replacement. She kicks this poor bike to death. Ideas? :bang:

we took mine apart and welded a bead on the mounting piece and made a harder surface. :ride:

Thanks for the idea Motogrl. I will take the assembly apart and ask someone with some welding experience to help me out, because my talents lie elswhere.
