1) your physical size (both height and weight are important) I am 6' 2" 200lbs 2) How physical / aggressive are you ? Moderate. I'm looking to have fun but not kill myself. 6-7 maybe? 3) what do you plan to ride- MX/SX tracks, woods, fields with friends or ????? Mainly trails, woods, fields, the odd track 4) Do you have any riding experience? Yes about 25+ hours on backwoods trails on my buddy's 1978 250 2 stroke enduro. Fun but a bit of a dog as far as power goes. Just got my learner's permit for street riding. 5) Do you think you will race ? No racing 6) Are you mechanically inclined and will you be doing your own bike work? Yes, I do all my own work to my car. 7) Do YOU have a preferance to a brand/ motor choice (2 or 4 stroke)? No preference. I'm hoping you guys will tell me which engine to buy. 8) Do you have a dealer close by your home that you might use and what brand(s) does he carry? The major brands are available. 9) How much ($) do you plan to spend on a bike? I'm looking to spend approx. $2,000 on a used bike. 10) Do you live in California? No, Canada. 11) Your age? 30 years. 12) Anything else? I am looking for something with power but nothing absolutely crazy. I am hoping to buy something that will last me a few years and not have to upgrade for want of power. I am looking at getting a 250. Should I buy a 2 or 4 stroke, that is one of my major questions. I'm operating under the assumption that a 125 two stroke be too small and slow.
