Need help to set timing

wow - Amerisport - i have no idea how to set the timing on one of them - your best bet is to look on the flywheel for a mark that says TDC or TF or T or something - you can then lay the cam in and hook up the chain (the lobes should be almost perpendicular to the valves) - there are sometimes 2 lines of the cam gear that line up flush with the head when the flywheel is timed correctly to TDC.....once hooked up (and bolted down if the cam gets bolted) run it through with the kickstarter - make sure that you see the intake open, then a stroke later the exhaust (ie, intake, compression, fire, exhaust)
