I'm no pro either, but alot of guys here are really good at this but first you need to tell them what your bike is doing. Is it spooging real bad, is it hesitating, do you hear crackling when you ride it, and at what stage in the throttle does this happen (1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full)...give as much info as you can otherwise nobody can help you. In the mean time here is some reading for you...study up...have fun!

He is after some general info of roughly where to start with jet / needle choice. The bike is ridden in usually dry , warm (22 degrees celsius) weather, sealevel - 1000f, 32:1 and a fairly passive rider. Do you guys know how to cure the rich - lean - rich condition caused by the stock needle? Any info or comments are much appreciated. Happy Trails. tREV

Does anyone know if the 2002 carbys are the same as the 2004?
