Need to Detune '02 CR 80!

I'm buying an 02 CR 80/85 for my ten year old son that is only beginner/early intermediate rider. I would like to detune it a bit for him. Can you change the injector sizes, cut the fuel mix ratio, anything? It has ProCircuit pipe/FMF muffler.Thanks for any help you have.Dennis :whoa:

denteen, Try a realy big flywheel wieght and taller gearing so it dose not have as much snap. Also, you could richen out the top end jetting but the flywheel should be enough.

Put the scary, power now system in. Reduce the carb bore. Heavier flywheel. gearing. Or call Eric Gorr.
