looks like we have the same interests. i am going to be riding a lot of trails and some tracks and i was looking at either a crf250r or x. the x would be better for woods and stuff. it has headlights and electric start, and you can still take it out on the track and have fun with it. but the r would be better on the track and you could probably do some woods riding with it too.
Exactly. but i think im leaning towards the r because someone just told me all you need to ride trails with the r is a spark arrestor and plus i was already leaning towards it.
you mean the x. the r doesnt have a spark arrestor stock.
if its a first bike i would get the x
its power is gonna be a little more ........(i dont wanna say smooth but...) it will have less straight power. i guess maybe someone can word it better
the x is trail ready when you buy it.
also think that the x is a lot (and i mean a lot) quieter then the r. with the r you will probably need to get a quiet muffler of some sort.
