New Cylinder and piston help

I just bought a new cylinder, piston kit, gaskets and bearings for my 94 RM250. Do I need to hone, scotch brite or just clean and lube the cylinder since it is brand new?
Also does anyone know where I can get a good used kickstart lever or an aftermarket one?

If its brand new just make sure you clean all the grit and oil from inside the barrel. Use dish soap and lots of hot water.
Looks on e-bay for the kickstarter. You may have to look on a regular basis, but I got one for my Cr there.
