Hey all, I just bought a 01 kdx 220 the other day. Best woods bike I have owned so far!! The past owner fueled 24.1, and used Yamalube mix. Should I keep it at this ratio or lean it up a bit. Also will it hurt the bike at all if I go with other brands of mixing oil? He put Synthetic in it also. What type of synthetic do you guys like in the KDX? As far as the motor. Should I worry about changing the rings and piston often, and how often should I service the Kips system? Sorry about all the questions, but I love this bike and want to keep her runnings strong. He said he has never messed with the motor, but did not ride it a lot. Good Day, and happy riding
