Thought you guys/gals might find it interesting...??
CRF150R chassis with a CRF250R engine.

Been testinmg it awhile, tons of fun :)
It has plenty of power , but not too much ,and handles simply great.

doesnt Service Honda have a Junior X, something like a 250X engine in a 150R chassis. sounds like a cool bike. lets put up some polls on what aftermarket parts to put on like we did on the CR500AF, and then we show it off.

Someone over in England put a CRF150R into a KTM125 chassis.

I'd think that might be a little lighter overall than the CRF250R chassis switch but that's just a guess.

not knocking that bike at all ,
but the CRF150 engine is quite a bit heavier than a ktm125 engine..
so that conversion bike gained a bit of weight , and lost considerble hp?


a CRF250R engine and carb is only 8 pounds heavier than a CRF150R engine and carb.
in a smaller lighter chassis.
it would diffinantly weigh less than that KTM/CRF conversion mentiuoned .

aj has prob been workin on this for awhile but what about a bbr aluminum framed crf150r chassis with an 08 dual exhaust crf250r motor. would it be illegal for him to use a bbr frame on his bikes?

a yz 490 project bike??? No matter what frame that motor goes into, the vibration will put your arms and legs to sleep. After riding one for almost 4 years and then getting a late model 250, I wish I had done so muuuuch sooner. I do however, see the fun factor involved in the current project AJ has built.

one of my dream bikes would be a slightly modded xr250 motor in a crf250 frame. my brother used to have a ttr125 and i wish he never would have sold it lol. i never rode it on a track but in the woods and on our small track (which has no jumps) i was just as fast or faster than on my rm250. i could hold that thing wide open through everything and it was a blast
