If the virus scanner picked it up as a known virus, then the software company already knows about it. No need to report it. If, however, you only got a warning of a "possible virus-like file", then send it to Symantec, they will study it and send you a report, and if it is a new virus, you will have done us all a favor. It probably is not a new virus, however, as .pif files have sort of fallen out of favor with virus writers.Originally posted by KWJams
