Hopefully they can stay ahead of the Suzuki curse and stay healthy.

Former Outdoor National winner John Dowd will be racing the National Arenacross Series under the PPG/MotoworldRacing.com Suzuki awning for the remainder of the 2005 series. The Massachusetts native has won many Outdoor Nationals and last year finished third in the points in the National Arenacross Series. Dowd will be running the number 3 on his RMZ250 and RM 250 for the PPG/MotoworldRacing.com team.

Unfortunately the PPG/MotoworldRacing.com Suzuki team lost both its riders on the first day of the series in Des Moines, with Hofmaster injuring his spleen in practice and Brayton breaking his leg in the 250 main. Hofmaster is recovering rapidly and will probably be out 6-8 weeks.

Dowd and Sorby will start for his new team this weekend in Albany, New York.
