Hey guys new to this forum, I could use a little help.
I just picked up an 01 CR250. The front forks were leaking pretty good, no problem, I have done my XR250 a dozen times.....Ok here goes the million dollar question. I took the forks apart..not as simple as my XR. nevertheless I am moving right along, put new seals and wipers on and add fork oil to outer tube(14ozs) reassemble, and do the next leg............Done every thing back together at this point and I realize that I missed a step. I never filled the compression damper section of the fork, manual shows this as a middle step, and it should be 6.3ozs or a level of 5-10 mm.
Do i have to disassemble the entire fork or can I just pop the legs out and do them without breaking them totaly down.
any insight will be greatly appreciated

I posted this in the CR section as well, the general census was to break them down and do it right, they do need to be bleed out of the fork.
Thanks for your input.
