I just wanted to thank everyone here for posting modification suggestions. I have a 2004 KDX220 which is basically stock,.. well .. ahem.. until now.
I have the usual bark busters, a factory 909 handlebar, radiator guards, but just recently needed to set this puppy up for trail riding. That said, I've changed the front sprocket, added a torque ring... tonight I'm swapping out the front fork springs (.38) and changing over the fork oil. I'm ditching the stock Dunlop 739's and putting on Perelli MT44 front/MT32 rear. Nice bottom end to this thing now... but the front end needs those springs bad.
Anyway.. thanks all for information. It's forums like this that save a lot of time and effort, trial and error. :blah:
