Hello, I am new on this forum, my name is stefan from the netherlands. I own a KDX200 1990 as a dirtbike, normally I drive a BMW 1150 GS, but this bike is too heavy for offroad use. After having a Yamaha tt350, tt600 and Honda xr500r it was time for a 2 stroke. I could buy this KDX from its first owner, some months ago.
I am very pleased with the driveability of this bike. My friend has a wr250 (2-stroke) 1994 which has more power then the kdx, but I think the kdx is better to drive. The only thing I have to repair are the two powervalves on the outside, they are broken, anyway I have driven the KDX without them.... Do they have to be replaced.
I like the simplicity of the KDX, but in the future I want to replace the 1150 GS by a HP2.
