Nobody Knows This?

I can't believe that in all these years of KDXing nobody (including my local Kawi shop) has ever measured and recorded the thread size of the oil drain plug. I have been told by another Kawi dealer that it should be M12x1.5 but before I start fiddling with the threads I am hoping someone can set me straight from previous experience. This information is not available in the parts diagrams.
Please help.

:coocoo: have you tried kawasakis web page and use their parts diagram. For a 2004 KDX220, went to crankcase and it clearly shows it is a 10mm. My dealer can always tell me bolt sizes when they dont have them so i can pick it up locally. I would be scared of your dealer. :nener:
