Hey guys...whats up
I got the handle "Oldman125" because my wife calls me oldman for the fun of it, and well I'm an immature 41 years old. The 125 part is because I prefer to ride a 125 two stroke. I have rode 250s, 500s, 80s too, but the RPM and handling of the 125 seems to suit me.
I was born in Illinois and moved to Colorado after graduating from WYO TECH in Laramie Wy. I grew up working on cars, bikes, mowers...whatever, and was an automobile tech for some 27 years and now am a Parts Manager for a Land Rover retailer. Honestly I should be called Gearhead! I love cars, trucks and bikes!
I started riding when I was 11 on a Benelli and raced for a few years in Colorado in SRAC. I raced 250C and moved to 125 B where I achieved 3rd in SX for a season. I now ride an '03 KTM 125SX.
I have since stopped racing, got to be responsible you know. I enjoy riding the trails with my little daughter and she enjoys watching dad make laps around my favorite tracks...as long as I throw out a whip or one hander now and then!
I look forward looking around and contributing to the site.
