Yeah, this ride is a great time!!! Optional single-track enduro sections are way cool, and there will be even more of that this year.
Any ride John Newton puts on is a good one, and this one rocks.
Last year was perfect weather, too!
Mostly in National Forest, with scenery and critters and everything!

I couldn't get the link to work in the last post so here it is again: www.madisonmotorcycleclub.org

This ride will be an AMA National Dual Sport Ride next year, so 2005 is your last chance to ride it without an AMA membership.

Great route/trail; a lot of it is in the Nicolet National Forest. There will be two new (optional) single-track sections for a total of 8 enduro-style loops.

30 varieties of chili (including bear & venison) at the Saturday lunch on the trail. 1-inch thick steaks back at the fairgrounds on Saturday night. Breakfast, too.

Many door prizes and a lot of bull****ting around the pit fire. Oh, and t-shirts, too.

Also, there have been rumors of the new Buell dual-sport making an appearance, as well as a Rekluse Auto-Clutch demo bike, although nothing definite yet.

The number of participants will again be limited to 160, so talk to your buddies and sign up now. You must pre-register for the ride!
