MANWOLFY, he means your bike is not burrning enough of the fule in the bottom end of its operating RPMs. Try one or two size smaller pilot jets and adjusting the air screw out.

caps lock is on.

yea the black muck is spooge. if you do a search on it you will find dozens of ways to get rid of it. proper jetting is a big part though

smaller pilot isnt going to help- if its got too much oil in the premix change fuel
try klotz oil- 40:1,dont change the jetting untill you try this

fuel and oil go through the jetts unless its oil injected- a smaller jet will just let less fuel/oil in- you might need a bigger pilot to burn the fuel- might-
usually its the premix ratio gettin messed up-
or a rich jetting from the factory-
you go too lean and it will be harder to start
also- a new set of pro series carbonfiber reeds will really help out-

Jetting is your problem. Set the clip on the needle in the next to the top ring. Then go ahead and change the pilot jet to 42 and the main to 155. Adjust your air screw in or out a little to work best from 1.25 turns out. Enjoy John

Thanks John did what you said it worked great. Not near the smoke and alot more snappy. Guess yamalube builds black spooge. Adjusted the float level and air screw is 2 turns out.
Cant wait to hit the trails. Turn and Burn :aj:
