My dealer says to go with the x ring because it seals better and can't fold over like an o ring chain. Makes sense to me. What do you guys think? He also stated that O ring and X ring chains rob the bike of horsepower unlike standard chain. Has anyone noticed a big difference in performance? I just want a chain that won't stretch after every ride.

The X ring may be a bit better, but when you can pick up a RK O-ring for $55-$60, who cares??

The O-ring chain will eat a little power, but not much, unless you are after every last HP.

Now, when it comes to adjusting :D you are going to love your chain. Adjust it once, after it breaks in, and then maybe a couple times a year, rather than a couple times a day...
