i'm a light weight fully dressed in daily clothes about 140lbs (shoes already subtracted) What spring rates do i need? i know lighter, but i need exact spring rates here. i'm a middle of the road Novice rider, but i feel if i could get my ass end to stop bouncing i could go faster. i have tooled with the adjuster a lot, but still need help. Now suppose i did get new springs, would i still need to have everything re-valved? please advise?

The bike comes stock set up for a 180lbs rider so you'll need softer springs. the Race Tech site recomends for you weight and riding ability...a 4.5 shock spring and .39 fork springs ( .40 would be fine and easier to find).....go out a few clicks on your rebound on both forks and shock with the new springs, i'm sure the ride will improve.
