Anybody have experience with with the Barnett Kevlar or Carbon Fiber kits.

The OEM alum plates don't last as long as the steel plates I hear. What about performance changes.

Any opinions?

same here, I've used both barnetts and EBC and with the EBC's they gave me an extra fiber and plate and you had to use it otherewise the total plate thickness wasn't enough, but with the extra one the last plate was very close to not being completely in the basket. When I replace mine again I'm half tempted to get oem fibers with steel plate. I dunno.....

The aluminum plates wear faster and put more contaminates into your oil. You'll probably want steel ones

I like to use the stock fibers with the steel plates. Tranny oil stays alot cleaner between changes. Also gives you a slight flywheel weight effect from the added weight of the steel plates.
