What are considered the "best" OEM replacement reeds now days? The 2001 RM 250 I have now is the 1st 2 stroke I've had in 6 years so I'm behind the times some. Is Boyseen still considered the "top dog" in reeds still?

depends, if you want the entire new cage i think v-force are the best moto tassarnie(or something make them) FMF also makes reeds and cages, although ive never tried them... i have boyesen power reeds, dual stage... work great i noticed they pulled harder down low and mid, but my bike has pretty much always been a screamer so i didnt notice much up top. And now that ive convinced myself that the dealer is bull****...

No, I'm not looking to replace the cage. I'm just looking for the best OEM = stock aftermarket reeds.

I've got the Boysen power reeds, not the carbon fiber ones. It helped the lower end and costs around 30 bucks, verses getting the entire cage for over a hundred. Just make sure you rejet when and if you change your pipe. It runs real rich from the factory.

I would suggest Carbon Tech reeds. Suzuki factory teams started using them a few years ago, before switching to the DeltaForce Reed Cage. Carbon Tech offers 3 different tensions to allow a custom power performance preference for the rider (low, mid, top range power).
