I'm considering buying a used Ohlins shock from a '95 KTM 250 to put on my KDX200. I haven't seen but pictures of it on-line and the owner says it's 18+1/2" long (5/8" longer than my stock shock). The top mount is the same size but the bottom is wider so I'd have to have something fabricated to match.
Can you tell me is that a can-do, or is that bottom mount too tricky to duplicate?
Also, is there any on-line guide to taking apart the shock? I (and the owner) don't even know the model # of the shock so I wouldn't know what to ask for from ohlins.com
