bell ray makes a great gear oil for 2 strokes its called gear saver and its all i use in my 2 strokes and there should be a stamping on the case of how much oil to use

but there is a bolt its called a check bolt and u fill up the tranny till oil comes out of the check hole its almost under the fill cap

but i strongly suggest you get a manual aswell

happy riding

Well. two things

1. Specialized 2T trans. oil
or
2. High quality Auto Trans. fluid (none of the Stuff you get for a few bucks the T.C.I stuff like $25 a gallon) its worth the extra $$$$ the clutch works better(easier to pull) and shifts a lot smoother.(trust me i used 10W30 and went to this and it acts alot different)

Or even Non Detergent motor oil(it wont fade the clutch plates)

gear saver is like glue it sucks ATF is my favorite it needs to be changed every ride though or 10w30 the motor oil doesn't need to be chaned as often
