Oil Change on a CRF450R How much oil??

I did the first oil and filter change yesterday on the motor and trans. The book says to add .73 to motor w/filter change and .62 to the trans. I out 730 cc in the motor and 620 cc in the trans. Then I started the bike up and let it run for about a minute or two. The trans was fine , but the peep hole for the motor oil showed that it was past the top of the sight hole. I drained some oil until I saw the oil level through the peep hole. Can I trust this peep hole? I used Pro honda synthetic w/moly on the motor and pro honda synthetic without moly on the trans.

Ive been going by the sight for about 10 months now and no problem. I think your probly fine. where those #'s after disasembly/filter replacement or just oil change? They have two different measurements.

i replaced the oil filter at the same time. Then I filled, started motor, and checked peep hole.

ahh Ive noticed that it does go past the top of the site after you start it. It just does it, I measure mine before I start it and then just keep an eye on it everytime b4 I ride.
