Hey Folks,

Both the kids KX65 and KX85 have oil leaks behind the sprockets.
Is this seal easy to get to or does it require any major work to swap it out?

Cheers

Countershaft seals. Remove chain and front sprocket, remove and replace seal. Easy stuff with some basic mechanical ability.

a few tricks ive picked up:
1) if the seal is too hard to remove, drill a small hole in the seal so you pass through the metal part of it. then stick something like a allon key into it, and pull it out.

2) to put new seals in, oil the outside of the seal and use the same size socket piece and lightly hit it in with a hammer.
