Hi. The guy before me had my bike done up with a Pro-action 3-Stage Increment Valve job. He had it set up for a B Class Amateur motocross rider.

.43 Rate Springs
120mm (from top) of 5 wt. oil
10 out rebound
10 out dampening

That felt awesome just putting around and woods riding. It tracked amazing and you could hit things so hard and not even feel the hit.

The problem came when i start going to tracks. The suspension felt awesome but it was to soft for the jumps. I mean little stuff, 30 ft table top and doubles would bottom out the forks.

I counteracted that by Cranking up the dampening. The setting now stand as

.43 rate springs
120mm (from top) of 5 wt. oil
8 out rebound
2 out dampening

Now i can take the jumps "ok" it wont bottom out but it is getting close. But it wont track now like it used to.

So i just got 2 quarts of 10 wt fork oil.

I figured the heavier wieght would give a little bit more stiffness.

I dont want to change the fork spring just yet if i dont have to so what do you think i can do to take out the harshness of the fork now that i will be putting in heavier oil?

Do you think that changing the oil wieght and level will be enough to keep it from bottoming so much?
