Old gasoline???

How long can you safely store mixed 2-stroke gas? I think the gas in my 5 gal container is about 2 months old, but it has been sitting in a cool place (92 Octane, 40:1). Should I dump it or will it be ok? I'm just not sure if it'll be ok for my engine.

when in doubt get fresh gas, run it in your car so that you don't waste it :)

I try not to buy more gas than I will use in a ride, but it happens.;) If my extra gas sits for more than a month, it becomes lawnmower/weedeater gas.

When it gets that old I run it in the lawn mower. I think Patman might have some tips for using it to burn brushpiles.:)
