I just saw this pic of the old VMC triple (track now closed). I remember mentioning this jump to Eel, and he seemed confident that he could do this triple (sight unseen). That I would have liked to have seen ... I could do the double (most novices could) , but the triple was much farther and damaging if you goofed, so it was usually done only by pro's (and a few kids on 80's).

Never even hit a double in my life. Too much of a wuss I guess.

I remember driving by VMC coming home from Hodge or Outlet Center. They used to send quite a bit of dust across the freeway. Always surprised me that they got away with it.

Surely you must be trying to draw me out by saying such a thing!!!!
Me? Boasting of clearing a triple - sight unseen? LOL.
That's laughable. And I am laughing. And I thank you.

You weren't boasting, but you showed impressive confidence. I wish I had that much when confronted with a rocky downhill.

My age definately defines the height my wheels leave the earth. The older I get, the less air between them!

I'm fairly certain I can clear that jump. Now if I could just figure out how get me and the bike back on the ground in one piece I would have it covered.

Happy Holidays guys.
