Older Newbie, Looking for right bike!

1) your physical size - 20 years old, 6"4 and 190 pounds
2) How physical / aggressive are you - Fairly agressive, Ready to learn though!
) what do you plan to ride- MX/SX tracks, woods, fields with friends - I plan on Trail riding, Woods, Feilds and Eventually MX
4) Do you have any riding experience?
Have ridden a few bikes, but mainly Neighbours ATV's ( 400ex and Kodiak 400)

5) Do you think you will race- Eventually down the road, But in the mean time NO

6)6) Are you mechanically inclined and will you be doing your own bike work?, Yes

7) Do YOU have a preferance to a brand/ motor choice (2 or 4 stroke).. Im a 2 stroke kinda guy!, But wouldnt mind either or!

8)Do you have a dealer close by your home that you might use and what brand(s) does he carry?- We have local dealers, Auto Trader, Craigslist, Kijiji.ca, Tri-AD

9)How much ($) do you plan to spend on a bike? About $2500 ( im Canadian EH!)

ive been looking at a few 99,00,01 Rm 125's for around $2000, would a 125 be to small for me/ out grow too fast?

But ya, im Thinking a 95-02 250 would be the best bet, thats what my friends have been telling me latley

jaco12, for a begginer ridding a 250 is alot easier then a 125 because of the extra bottom end power. The 99 RM125 is a great bike and has a good amount of bottom end power considering the size. Its all up to you.
