Wow! The slop thickens. Great races.

Langston takes the big boy class and does what he needs to. Alessi also performs under pressure. KW has a good ride and shows heart. Ferry continues to prove he is the King of Bad Luck, but remains in contention. Short is a solid, consistent rider but just a little behind. Still in 2nd on the season, though.

Ten points separating four riders. If Ferry can turn his luck around, he'll give Langston a battle.

Lites are great entertainment also! Stroupe takes out his teamates RV, Metcalfe and BT in the first corner of Moto 1. RV kicks ass, takes names and gets the OA and the points lead! Young guns Canard, Stroupe and Izzi riding great.

This is some good stuff! Battles in both classes for the title. If you can attend of the last few rounds, you should!

I don't even Know Who to cheer for any more, but I think Langston is going to have to get the nod from me for the title. Ferry is going to be on fire the last 2 races. I think Ferry will win GH, so who ever does the best in texas is going to win it.

It will come down to the last moto, but Langston is the likely winner, IMO.

FWIW, Langston and Alessi both get around Glen Helen really well. I look for Alessi to win at least one moto there.

Ferry needs some good starts and some good results in Texas.

The races were unbelievable in person. In Moto 1 of the big bikes, I watched Langston's wheel contact KDub's back in mid air over the 100 foot double. Langston hit a muddy hole right before the jump face and it kicked him into KDub's line. Neither rider crashed, but KDub had to cut the track because the contact put him in the mud.

Alessi was very impressive. I've not been a big fan, but he rode clean and fast.

I'm afraid RV on his 250 could have won the big bike class, though . . . Got up from the first turn crash in 37th and finished 3rd in the first moto. He was only about 10 feet behind 2nd place at the finish.

Seems he has been in this situation before and a bown up wheel took him out. He will be pushing extra hard to prove he can do it. Anyone want to carpool to California next week?

Nice to see a Katoom actually get a win in the big boy class.... I'm sad that JBS is out for the season, but the racing is MUCH more entertaining to watch w/out him (and/or RC) making the rest of the field fight for 2nd or 3rd place...
