one small gasket problem?

Ok, im getting ready to put my head on and my 98 cr 125 and it uses a metal gasket. my cometic gasket has raised sections where the water jacket holes are in the cylinder. The stock gasket has and "up" stamped into it but not mine. So which way does it go? Thanks alot

On mine the raised parts face up.
