I live in Fayetteville and ride Mill Creek about twice a month. It's great! You might want to stick to the blue (main) trail for the first morning - it'll take you about 1:45 to 2:00 to make the full loop and it's a well marked trail but it'll get you aquainted with the lay of the land. The creek was dry the last time I was there (about two weeks ago). However, we've had some good rains and it might be flowing again. There are camping areas all along the road next to the creek past the trail head and I've seen some pretty large RVs camping so they should be adequate. I would follow jboomer's advise and take 23 (from Ozark) up to 16 and make a left if you're coming from the south. The intersection at 23 and 16 is close to St. Paul. There are a couple of hairpin, 10MPH curves on 23 that could get uncomfortable in an RV so an alternative route would be to take I540 to Fayetteville and then catch 16 to Combs (mill creek). This would also allow you to pick up some last minute groceries and gas - the other route really wouldn't (for a fair price anyway). Be prepared for some rocky, rough terrain with a lot of hill climbs. You won't exhaust all of the trails out there in a day, in fact, you could literally ride all the way down to I40 if you pick up the right trail. If you need any help on the way or while your there, you're welcome to call me on my cell phone 479.871.3205. --John Scott
