Well, Hondas are red, so when you crash and are bleeding all over your bike it blends in better.
Yamahas are blue, which gives you a little bit better contrast against the earth tones, makes the pictures at the track turn out a little better, unless you are going for big air on the doubles in which case the blue bike against the blue sky tends to wash the picture out a bit.
Honda is a shorter name, so when you need to fill out the brand of the bike on an entry form its faster to write, easier to spell.
