After rebuilding the top end of my 1995 RMX 250, I'm noticing some overheating. Aside from rebuilding the top end, I haven't don't anything else different. My first thought is could it be the water pump? How often do they go out? It seems unlikely, but never the less. I also read it could be because I"m running to lean. Any information on overheating would be great. Thanks for reading.

it could be eithe rlike you said, are you losing any coolant? If your coolant is staying level you are prob running lean, try jetting it a little richer and see what happens

I'd check teh plug and see if it's lean. If that's okay, then look into other areas. I have seen impeller blades damaged/broken off, but not very often. YZ165
