Hmmmmm.... I've used blue and purple on a KDX,and yellow and white on my YZF426.The YZF had brand new front and rear fenders that I cleaned real good to get any oils off before taping and painting. The number plates were old and really scratched and dirty,so I cleaned them really well with a grease fighting dish soap, and then sanded the huge gouges down to mere scratches and taped them off and painted away. I used 3 or 4 coats, applying each within 10 - 15 minutes of eachother. The racing stripes I painted on the fenders of the 426 are long and pointy, but the tape still peeled off easily and left nice clean, long points without any peeling of the paint.I'm not sure what I'm doing right, but I think the fusion paint is awesome! I see you're in Wa. I painted my stuff in a warm, dry shop. I'm wondering if climate is a factor while applying it? Just a thought. flap
