I'm a big guy (6'5, 285lbs), which of these forks have more potential for me? I ride novice MX.
Will my KX (46mm Kayaba) fork springs fit in the Paioli forks?
Any drawbacks to either of these fork designs? Both are '02 models.

I've never owned any Paoli's but have read a lot of negative stuff in the mags. I do have a 99 ktm with the 50mm conv WP's and they are some of the best stock forks i've had. You would need them sprung for your weight obviously. I would put fork gaiters on them as they are prone to seal leaks if unprotected.

Both the forks you are asking about are not well made stay clear and get some OLINS or WP forks. The internals are made much better.
