I have a set of these 46mm Paiolis I am trying to get dialed in some.
They are Kayaba clones I am told.

Compression valving is

3-22 all.05
1-20
1-18
1-16
1-14
1-12x.15
1-13.5x.8

I was wondering is moving the 16mm in between the 22s like 2-22,1-16,1-22,1-18 etc. would help remove the deflection in trail trash.
We are a tad undersprung we have .42 and need .44. Oil is 7 wt at 115mm.

Any suggestions on a mid valve or atleast a starting point?

I was going to order the gold valves to learn more about this entire process. I read once about the cylinder valve drawbacks on the Kayaba and I think Terry had some mods for them.

I have let the pros handle my stuff for years but since this is Juniors spare practice bike atleast I can learn more. I also have my PDS KTM shock coming apart and I will soon go bald from tackling that monster

Thanks in advance for any input?

Mike
