pc silencer vs fmf

Right now I have an older style R304 pc silencer with pc pipe for my 01 rm250. The silencer doesn't really look all that "short". The fmf power core 2 silence looks extremely tiny. Is there a size difference between the two? Can I mismatch brands...ect..pc pipe with fmf silencer?

you should be able to but as a rule i dont. I know with the sst pipe they want you to use their sst shorty it may be because of the rapid convergence cone in the sst because some people were having problems with the crown of their piston get excessively hot. as long as the stinger from the pipe fits the silencer it should be ok. but check it out first.

Can someone measure their pc R304 silencer for me? Like just the silencer, not the piping.
