To any Minnesota riders (or any others that can make the trip), there's going to be a memorial ride this Saturday (9/29) in remembrance of Peter Patton, a Minnesota rider that recently died while attempting a tabletop jump at Meadow Valley motocross track (near the Milleville national track). He left behind a wife (Mary) and two sons (Peter III and Luke).
The ride is being held at Hurricane Hills in Mazeppa. From what I understand, all practice fees, etc. are being donated to the Patton kids' college funds. The owners of Hurricane Hills are coordinating everything. There's also going to be a memorial and sign dedication where the 90 foot jump at HH will be dedicated to and named after Peter.
Here's Hurricane Hills website for anybody needing driving directions:

Also, prior to his death, Peter Patton maintained an excellent Minnesota-based motocross webpage with a lot of great information on riding in Minnesota. Here's the link for that as well:

I'll be there on Friday and Saturday.
