Bruce, I went riding last Saturday (first time since May), but I was slower than slow. One easy whoop section that I could blast through in third before, I can now only zig-zag through in second gear. :scream:
However, I'm hoping for a spin on your RM144 sometime in the near future. :thumb: , but it's a little soon to be wrecking other people's bikes.
Forgot to say the alterations imade during the running in.
Jetting 1 turn out on airscrew
Needle dropped on clip.
Suspension i set to full soft both ends.
Steering headset was loose-tightened to help loose steering feel.
Chain streached a fair amount on the 1st ride.
Back brake pedal was very low-raised to same level as footpeg.
Latest changes
37.5 pliot at 2.5 turns
430 main
its picked up a fair bit of power and sounds fantastic:)
used the 4.5 rear spring but i need to valve it softer both ends.
It handles better than any bike i have ridden.
Forgot to say before-it has a nice 'adjust on the fly' clutch lever.
But the brakes dont match a 03 KX-im going to buy a 03 KX slave cylinder as thats the only part thats different.
The girls a MXA just tested the 04 RM 125 and said the bikes suspension is so soft that it's only passable for 130-140 pounders. Marcus! stay away from that tail pipe or we'll gona tell Claire. :p :)
Now now there, they weren't slaming the bike. With the proper springs they felt the suspension was very good. What are the forks specd at 41-42's???
