Has anyone designed or built a homemade pipe dent repair kit using plugs, air compressor and blow torch? If so, could you give me the low-down on how you designed it, where you purchased the materials and how safe was it to use. Maybe there is a kit already available that I could purchase vs. homemade? I know you have to be careful using compressed air. Does it have to be an inert gas vs. compressed air? Is there a trick to using the blow torch on platinum finished pipes to prevent discoloration? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

there just happens to be one on e-bay right now , check it out at : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34284&item=2405854319&rd=1
with the cost of materials and time spent to make one i think $100 is pretty a good price.
