1997 kdx 200 with FMF gold fatty rev pipe.

I am not the original owner of the bike or the person who initially installed the aftermarket pipe. While doing to top end today I found these two gaskets in the cylinder head. Oddly enough I never noticed that these spaces do not allow the second o-ring on the pipe to enter the cylinder head.

My question is are these recommended by FMF or are they make shift torque rings created by the last owner? What is the stock installation for the FMF pipe? My gasket kit has the two o-rings for the pipe and what looks like a thinner o-ring that if I guess goes in the cylinder head without these crazy spacers?

Please advise.

I have one of those in, it came from FMF, and my O rings do seal. I pulled the old one out and replaced it with the new. I'm guessing somebody probably didn't take the original out when they put the new pipe on. I cant comment on the performance with none but I imagine the pipe would rattle against the seat without it.
