i was just wondering if anyone has had any experieince with VERTEX pistons. I am thinking of putting them in my ktm 125 and just wondering if they are as good as they say they are. thanx

really? stock? i was gonna ask if they were any better than oem, but. . . .I read an article in dirt rider about a cr 125 with one in it and they said it help a good bit. thanx

Is it really the OEM for ktm's? If so, do they offer the 200 piston? Also, where can I get one and how much dinero? Thanks alot.

I am pretty sure the KTM pistons are made by Mahl. These pistons look very similar to the Vertex ones.

I agree with 380ePete. I don't think KTM's come with Vertex pistons. The look is very similar, though.

The OEM seems to vary by bike. I KNOW from experience the '99 300 and 380 have ELKO pistons. I don't have the slightest idea who ELKO is!
