Pistons for KDX - will it fit and work ?

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to find a new piston for my KDX 200 1988.
Do you know if the later models (1989-on) have the same design of pistons? will they fit on my bike?
Even though these are water cooled engines, but the pistons might be the same...
I'm preety sure the 86-87 have identical pistons.
* I found one on the net that says it fits 1990-2005 only.
part number 13001-1317
This number is a bit different from my piston's number, but i'm not sure if that what matters.

1986 to 2005 all take the same piston.

Dirtdame is correct. 86+ KDX200 all take the same piston.

Do you know what rings should i use for my piston?
Not sure what condition the cylinder is in, but i'm sure that if it's coated or bored, or sleeved - i will need special rings in any case.

If you get a wiseco piston, get wiseco rings. If you get a pro-x piston, get pro-x rings. If you get an oem piston, get oem rings. I believe the 88 cylinder was plated. Doesn't really matter though, the only "special" rings are for chrome bores, which you do not have.
