Pit bike Kickstarter problem

Okay so when I kick the Kickstarter over it only catches about one in 4 times to actually fire, no clue how I would fix this as I’m not very experienced in fixing bikes. Another problem is I have to kick the bike over for roughly 10 minutes every time it’s cold before it will start but after it’s warm it will start with one kick, and clue what’s wrong?

It could be the carb , might be dirty or clogged

Where do u have the choke set ?
And is your fuel on ? Lol sometimes it’s just little things that get overlooked
