I bought a 85 xr200r honda and put gas in the tank and the pitcock has a leak from the valve itself. can i by pass it or rebuild?
Bike has been sitting for ten years so any info on how to get it started would be useful too.
You can rebuild them. I've taken them apart, cleaned them without replacing washer or anything and cured this problem a few times (and sometimes not cured the problem).
